Life Lines: The Mundane

Since I last wrote, I feel as though not much has happened, although the time has passed very quickly. Does that happen when there is much work, or little work? Perhaps both. At any rate, I don't have anything too exciting to say. But I do know that sometimes just sharing the mundane is okay too.

The most exciting thing to happen in the last two weeks is that the shirts I worked on are complete. They are being worn, sold online, and I even have one myself. You can see it here. I like how it turned out, I think. Some things were altered slightly due to the stitching process, and some of those things worked well. Other things, are simply different. That's okay too. I consider it quite a learning experience to work on a project like this, and to see the process from computer art to embroidered shirt.

Projects have been scattered lately. I haven't had a lot of work, and it is a little discouraging. But God has still sent some projects, and others may be coming up. Faith is not always to come by...

One nice thing about slow weeks is that they often come after busy ones. That means two things. First, it can be a time to catch up on things. And second, you may see the fruit of the busy weeks. When you aren't working a lot, it's good to get a check in the mail.

So there's my report on not a lot. For now, I'll keep on following Him, trusting Him, and learning to always rely on Him...especially in the mundane that is life.

Life Lines is a first hand look at life after leaving a full time job and deciding to follow God given passions and dreams.
